Tuesday, January 20th, Northside Media hosted Brooklyn Magazine’s monthly Innovation meet-up, this time the focus was on craft beer. The discussion, Innovation in Craft Beer: How Entrepreneurs are Transforming the Beverage Industry was held at the Brooklyn Brewery. The panel included beer geniuses Joe Grimm of Grimm Artisanal Ales, Basil Lee of Finback Brewery, and Steve Hindy, co-founder of Brooklyn Brewery.

After hearing from these leading innovators in the beer industry on connecting with consumers and bringing the community together, guests treated themselves to samples from all of the breweries represented, BBQ from Mable’s Smokehouse and whiskey from Jameson. (btw this bartender makes the BEST old-fashioneds, yes we were drinking whiskey at a beer event. We don’t discriminate! ha.
