The US Open roared in this year with an “upsetting” final between two first-time finalists when Marin Cilic defeated Kei Nishikori. No Fed, No Djokovic, and saddest of all, no Rafa. But as a Tennis Pro wife, I know that the best matches really are the ones earlier, because this has been arguably the most unpredictable tennis season since the days of Agassi and McEnroe. So for us, we had to make sure that we got to see Fed, especially when our good friend, and HUGE Federer fan (#RollRogerRoll) was in town. Michael Jordan however was a bigger spectacle that the match.
For the first-time attendee, this was no day at the park. He was there to help promote the new Jordan/Fed shoes. Luckly, Fed won. Oh and our friend was able to score them before the Nike Lab store in Manhattan’s Soho neighborhood, the Zoom Vapor AJ3s sold out within about an hour. What do you think of the new shoes?
